24hr Prevail Run – Yarm

Saturday 7th November 2026 Endurance.

Grit. Community. One Hour at a Time. Supporting Everymancan.

| Butts Lane, Yarm |

---------------------

The Challenge

The 24hr Prevail Run – Yarm is built on a simple but brutal rhythm: Run one 6.7km lap. On the hour. Every hour. For 24 hours.

It’s a format made famous by events like Big’s Backyard Ultra in Tennessee, Dead Cow Gully in Australia, and Suffolk’s own endurance loops—yet this is our northern, grassroots, community‑driven version. No protected names. Just pure, honest endurance.

Miss a lap, miss the cut-off, or fail to start the next hour… and your race ends. Keep showing up, and you’ll discover what it truly means to prevail.

---------------------

Mental Strength at the Heart of It

This event isn’t just about physical endurance. It’s about mindset, resilience, and the quiet battle that happens inside your own head. That’s why the 24hr Prevail Run proudly supports Everymancan, a mental health charity dedicated to helping men access support, open up, and find strength through connection.

Every lap becomes a symbol of the mental health journey:

  • Showing up even when it’s hard

  • Taking things one step, one hour at a time

  • Leaning on community when you need it

  • Realising you’re stronger than you think

By taking part, you’re not just running—you’re helping raise awareness and vital funds for Everymancan’s mission to support men across the region.

---------------------

The Course

Set on private farmland just outside Yarm, the loop is 100% trail and packed with character:

  • Rolling fields and open countryside

  • Tracks and natural terrain skirting the River Tees

  • Mud, roots, ruts, and November weather

  • A mix of runnable sections and technical challenges

It’s beautiful. It’s gritty. It’s honest. A course that rewards patience, strategy, and mental toughness.

---------------------

How It Works

  • Lap Distance: 6.7km

  • Start: On the hour, every hour - Be in the corral before the bell

  • Duration: 24 hours

  • Cut-Off: Finish within the hour

  • Rest: Use whatever time remains before the next lap

  • Goal: Complete all 24 laps… or go as far as you can

This format levels the playing field. It’s not about speed—it’s about consistency, discipline, and mindset.

You’re Out If

  • You miss the start

  • You finish late

  • You withdraw

  • You’re medically pulled

---------------------

Who This Event Is For

  • Trail runners craving a new challenge

  • Ultra runners who love strategy

  • New endurance athletes wanting a structured, supportive format

  • Anyone passionate about mental health advocacy

  • Runners who want to push themselves while lifting others up

You don’t need to be the fastest. You just need to keep stepping forward.

---------------------

The Atmosphere

Expect a tight-knit community.

Expect encouragement every hour.

Expect fireworks.

Expect shared struggle, shared triumph, and shared purpose.

Expect a field full of runners supporting Everymancan and each other.

This is endurance with meaning.

---------------------

Why “Prevail”?

Because this event is about more than miles. It’s about overcoming doubt. Overcoming fatigue. Overcoming silence around mental health. It’s about prevailing—one lap, one hour, one conversation at a time.

Run With Purpose

On Saturday 7th November 2026, the farm trails of Yarm will come alive with determination, headtorches, and a community united for endurance and mental health.

Join us. Challenge yourself. Support Everymancan. And discover what happens when you refuse to quit.
