24hr Prevail Run – Yarm
Saturday 7th November 2026 Endurance.
Grit. Community. One Hour at a Time. Supporting Everymancan.
| Butts Lane, Yarm |
---------------------
The 24hr Prevail Run – Yarm is built on a simple but brutal rhythm: Run one 6.7km lap. On the hour. Every hour. For 24 hours.
It’s a format made famous by events like Big’s Backyard Ultra in Tennessee, Dead Cow Gully in Australia, and Suffolk’s own endurance loops—yet this is our northern, grassroots, community‑driven version. No protected names. Just pure, honest endurance.
Miss a lap, miss the cut-off, or fail to start the next hour… and your race ends. Keep showing up, and you’ll discover what it truly means to prevail.
---------------------
Mental Strength at the Heart of It
This event isn’t just about physical endurance. It’s about mindset, resilience, and the quiet battle that happens inside your own head. That’s why the 24hr Prevail Run proudly supports Everymancan, a mental health charity dedicated to helping men access support, open up, and find strength through connection.
Every lap becomes a symbol of the mental health journey:
Showing up even when it’s hard
Taking things one step, one hour at a time
Leaning on community when you need it
Realising you’re stronger than you think
By taking part, you’re not just running—you’re helping raise awareness and vital funds for Everymancan’s mission to support men across the region.
---------------------
Set on private farmland just outside Yarm, the loop is 100% trail and packed with character:
Rolling fields and open countryside
Tracks and natural terrain skirting the River Tees
Mud, roots, ruts, and November weather
A mix of runnable sections and technical challenges
It’s beautiful. It’s gritty. It’s honest. A course that rewards patience, strategy, and mental toughness.
---------------------
